APPRENTICESHIP 

To become an Apprentice one must be hired off of our Apprenticeship Ranked Applicant List. 

This Ranked Applicant List will be developed through a recruitment, posted on www.neieprecruitment.org

Recruitments occur every two (2) years or as needed.  An announcement will appear on www.neieprecruitment.org of a new recruitment opening. You may also visit https://www.neiep.org/elevator-apprenticeship-recruitment-opportunities/ for information on recruitments around the country.

The latest recruitment was closed on April 09, 2025.

Please do NOT contact the Union Hall for information regarding the next open recruitment.

CURRENT RANKED APPLICANT LIST

We are currently drawing from our Apprenticeship Ranked Applicant List established on June 4, 2025.  We are presently on applicant # 9 of this list and will continue to draw from this list until a new list is adopted.

Note!  One final reminder, please do not inquire as to when your number will be called or when you will be dispatched, because it is impossible to predict and there will be no speculation as to when you may be hired. Failure to respond within 48 hours to a call for dispatch, may result in removal from the list.
