    We will NOT, under any circumstances, accept walk-in applicants or telephone calls in regard to the recruitment!

    OPENING AND CLOSING
    Applications will be accepted from Monday, June 25, 2018 @ 7:30 AM (HST) until Tuesday, July 31, 2018 @ 4:00 PM (HST).

    NUMBER OF APPLICANTS
    The recruitment shall close upon receipt of the first three hundred (300) completed applications or at the designated closing date and time. Whichever occurs first.

    APPLICATION DEADLINE
    Applications must be completed by: Tuesday, July 31, 2018, 4:00 PM (HST)

    RESUME
    A resume must be submitted with your application. (Upload as a .pdf or .doc file)

    GEOGRAPHICAL AREA
    All applicants must reside within the geographical area covered by IUEC Local 126, which encompasses the islands of Hawai'i, Kaua’i, Lana'i, Maui, Moloka'i, O'ahu, and Ni'ihau.


     

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    AGE
    Applicants must be at least eighteen (18) years of age on or before Tuesday, July 31, 2018.

    EDUCATION
    Applicants shall be a high school graduate or provide proof of equivalent educational attainment such as completion of the General Education Development (GED) tests. Each applicant shall submit (upload), with the completed application, a high school transcript, or high school diploma, or an official report of GED test results. College transcripts will not be accepted in lieu of a high school diploma or a GED.

    APTITUDE
    All applicants shall pass an examination designed to test the applicant’s reading, math skills, and aptitude for employment in the elevator industry.

    PHYSICAL
    Applicants must be capable of performing the physical requirements of the job without posing a threat to the health and safety of themselves or others.

    OTHER
    Upon selection, the applicant must pass a drug test. (Paid for by the employer)  A government issued photo I.D. must be presented during the application process.
